Admissions

We are excited to get started!

The admissions process begins when you review the information on our website and contact us with any questions you may have about our microschool. Our approach and size are intentionally designed to reach students with learning differences, so we are happy to answer your questions and start building a relationship with your family.

We are committed to maintaining strong, trusting relationships with our students and their families. Therefore, we ask each family to provide a statement of faith when applying.

We are accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The students can share their favorite in-person educational games, learning manipulatives, and creative activities with you! You will be in for a fun evening!
  • What is educational therapy?
Educational therapy is not tutoring; it teaches “how to think” in contrast to “what to think” by addressing the underlying causes of learning failure through research-backed educational therapy. The goal is to teach and practice “how-to” strategies through specific tasks during skilled, one-on-one or small group mediated sessions. Through reciprocal engagement, students gain confidence to become stronger independent learners. These explicit, systematic interventions target these areas: Cognitive: Thinking processes, reasoning, reflecting, attaching meaning, remembering, understanding, and evaluating. Perception: Accurately receiving and processing sensory information (input), especially from visual and auditory sources, for learning, storage, and retrieval. Emotional: Changing students’ thinking about their learning ability impacts relationships with others and how they interact with the world that God has created. Academics: Teaching strategies to enhance “how to learn” by establishing strong executive functioning skills, increasing accountability, building competencies, and improving processing speed to make accessing the curriculum more efficient and effective.
  • What is EXPLORE Day and when is it?
EXPLORE Day is for the entire family! It will be August 19, 2024, from 8:00 am. until 12:00 pm. A continental breakfast will be provided. This is your time to see the classroom, visit with the other families, and meet the educational therapists (teachers).

For academic year 2024 - 2025, the annual tuition per student is $25,000.00. There are no added fees for push-in or pull-out support for academic interventions.
  • Are there other fees beyond tuition?
Yes, the student is responsible for purchasing their required textbooks, uniforms, and any additional costs that may be associated with field trips and extra-curricular activities. Once the student is enrolled for the academic year, a $1200.00 non-refundable fee is requested. This fee, however, is included as part of the annual tuition.
  • How do I pay tuition?
An invoice will be emailed to each family. There are ten invoices per year. Payment on each invoice is due in full two weeks after receipt.
  • How do I make a donation?
Donations can be made under the "Donate" button found in the Admissions section of the website. Approved donations to our library are always welcome!
