About
Our School
EXPLORE Learning School is a Christian microschool experience for children in grades one to six who have learning differences. Early interventions are key to building confidence and developing academic skills that create strong independent learners for life! Students with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, visual and auditory processing issues, working memory weakness, limited attention (ADHD), or executive functioning challenges will benefit from this explicit, systematic approach to learning powered by an educational therapist in each classroom. No need for push-in or pull-out sessions! Our students participate in educational therapy in the classroom and build knowledge through in-person educational games and sensory, hands-on discovery experiences across the curriculum.
All our teachers will be certified to provide educational therapy through the National Institute for Learning Development. The teacher-to-student ratio will be no more than one to six to maximize student engagement.

Each student will be encouraged to give thanks daily for who they are in Christ and to use creativity and positive thinking in pursuing knowledge and life skills.

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8

Welcome
"I believe that every student is created by God with the desire to learn and be successful. You play an important role in providing the best enrichment, intervention tools, and strategies for your son or daughter to reach their potential."

About Mrs. Connor

After leaving pediatric nursing, Mrs. Connor began a teaching career that spanned over 19 years with a strong emphasis on literacy and math development. During that time, God placed students with learning differences in her classroom. The challenge of meeting the needs of these students and helping them succeed encouraged her to seek training at the National Institute for Learning Development. It was through their certification process that she became a Level III Professionally Certified Educational Therapist. She used her experience in educational therapy to launch a successful private practice. Mrs. Connor has combined all these life experiences and training to build a creative, fun, Christ-centered education with enrichment, interventions, and encouragement for her students.

“…that according to the riches of his glory, he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith-that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surrounds knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:16-19
